Q: What is Flea at RPI? A: Flea at RPI is an electronics-themed flea market hosted by the W2SZ club at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. It brings together enthusiasts, students, and the general public to celebrate technology, offering a platform for buying, selling, and exploring electronics, vintage items, and more.
Q: When and where will Flea at RPI 2024 take place? A: The event is scheduled for Saturday, March 30th, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Rensselaer Union McNeil Room, RPI Campus, located at 1761 15th St, Troy, NY 12180.
Q: Who can attend Flea at RPI 2024? A: Everyone is welcome! We anticipate a diverse group of participants, including RPI students, local ham radio enthusiasts, vintage and retro enthusiasts, and local businesses.
Q: Is there an admission fee? A: Students can enter free with a valid student photo ID. There is a general admission fee of $6 for the public. Discounts are available for those presenting an event flyer, a photocopy, or a social media share.
Q: Can I sell my items at the event? How much does it cost? A: Yes, you can! Advance reservations for sellers are $10 for the first 4x3ft table, with additional tables at $5 each. At the door, the price is $15 for the first table, with additional tables at $10 each. Reserve by March 22nd to secure your spot.
